Anna
Atlanta Coordinator
Hey Adopteen!
My name is Anna Marianchuk! I was adopted from Guangdong Province, China in October 1998 through CCAI and have lived in Decatur, GA ever since. I'm in my 3rd year at Georgia Tech and am
studying Chemical Engineering with a minor in Spanish. At Tech, I've had the opportunity to study abroad in Madrid, research, intern, and am part of a sorority on campus. I love to eat, travel,
hike, hang out with friends and family, and meet new people!
I'm so excited to see Adopteen return to Atlanta and on a regular basis now! I've attended 5 camp-conferences and served on the leadership committee last summer for the Washington D.C.
camp-conference and am extremely excited to take on this new leadership role within Adopteen! Atlanta has a great adoptee community and I really want to see it continue to grow and develop! We
have so much fun planned for the next year! I can't wait to meet everyone!

Katie
Colorado Co-Coordinator
Hi guys!!
My name is Katie and I’m from Boulder, Colorado. I currently am a senior at Fairview High School and plan to graduate this spring. I was adopted from Hunan Province and just this past summer,
I went back for the first time. This will be my first year on the committee and I am so excited to meet all of you! When I’m not in school I enjoy hanging with friends, hiking, and spending time with
family.
My first experience with Adopteen was this past summer when I participated in a program called Adoptees Giving Back Orphanage Service Trip. (AGBOST) I came back loving it so much that I wanted
to become more involved with Adopteen and the community. Adopteen has changed my life. I met one of my best friends from going on the trip and made so many connections with the other adoptees. I cannot
wait to meet all of you!

Laura
Chicago Coordinator
My name is Laura Williams, and my parents adopted me from Guangxi Province, China in 1997. I grew up in the Chicagoland area, and I am a senior at DePaul University, majoring in Graphic Design
and minoring in Hospitality. From an early age, I have been fascinated with art and technology. I enjoy traveling, sports, and hanging out with family and friends. I look forward to graduation and a
career in my area of study.
I am excited to take on this leadership role with Adopteen. I have always been interested in my Chinese heritage and the topic of adoption. As long as I can remember, I have always wanted to
help make a difference for people like me. Like many others, I have had many barriers to overcome as a Chinese adoptee. Over the years, I have learned to embrace and appreciate who I am. I would have
loved the opportunity to belong to a group like Adopteen when I was a teenager, so I would love to bring this opportunity to other adoptees in the Chicagoland area.
